1. Delete from within the app

The account holder (the parent who originally created the household) can permanently delete the entire household account and all its data directly from ChoreHub:

  • Open ChoreHub and log in
  • Go to Settings → Account
  • Select Delete My Household Account... and confirm

You can also export a copy of your data first from the same screen, using Export My Data.

2. Can't access the app?

If you no longer have access to your account, or would rather not log in to request deletion, email privacy@chorehub.net from the address associated with your household (or with as much identifying detail as you can provide) and ask us to delete your account. We'll verify the request and confirm once it's done.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting a household account permanently removes the household and everyone in it — parent and child profiles, chores, chore history, badges, rewards, photos, and any linked payment handles. This happens immediately and can't be undone.

We retain a small number of records only where legally required (for example, billing records for tax/accounting purposes), consistent with the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

4. Deleting just a child's profile

If you only want to remove one kid's profile rather than the whole household, the account holder (or any parent in the household) can do that from Manage Family without deleting the entire account — that permanently removes that child's profile and its data the same way.
